The Hannah Kroner School of Dance Company competition team recently returned with Diamond, Platinum, and High Gold awards, the Best Choreography Award and numerous Special Judges Awards after a busy season of competitions. Among the dancers was Mineola’s Emily Marotta, Albertson’s Christina Massetti, Williston Park’s Lauren Muniz and Lauren O’Hara and East Williston’s Emma Parente and Sarah Ruane.
During the months of March and April the 26 member Competition Team of the Hannah Kroner School of Dance in Albertson, was busy competing in three separate regional competitions—two on Long Island and one in Queens. They consisted of junior and senior team students. There were eight group routines, seven soloists and a production number done by all involved.
The dancers were led by teachers/choreographers Olivia Leinwohl, Shannon McGuinness and Samantha Witt. The company will be performing these dance routines at their show You’re the Top at Mineola High School on Sunday, June 5.
