Now in its 41st year, the Photography Club of Long Island (PCLI) invites the Port community to their Annual Music and Images Show at the Port Washington Public Library on Wednesday, May 11, at 7:30 p.m. This highly anticipated multimedia show features colorful and dramatic images from Port Washington to South America and around the world. Part of the show features musical themes as well as an exploration of nature. Along with a multimedia presentation, PCLI will be exhibiting a collection of stunning photographs in the library’s Martin Vogel Photography Gallery through June 30. The captivating images of the exhibition, created by PCLI members, will come directly from PCLI’s Music and Images Show. The Show and the Exhibition will enable visitors to travel the world without ever leaving Port Washington. Leave your passport at home and head over to the library to travel the world. Come early, tour the Gallery Exhibit and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
The Photography Club of Long Island Library has partnered with the Port Public Library for 41 years to produce the popular Music and Images Show and, for 37 years, to produce the Annual Gallery Exhibit.
PCLI has been serving Long Island Photographers for over four decades, and hosts a free lecture program open to the public at the library on the second Wednesday of every month, September through June. The focus of PCLI is learning from others about photography as a skill and an art form. To learn more about PCLI, go to www.pcliphoto.org.
