Local Troop Scouts For Food

As part of “scouting for food,” and in full demonstration of the Boy Scout slogan, “do a good turn daily,” Mineola Troop 45 spent several hours on a recent Sunday afternoon collecting food donations from generous shoppers at the Stopand Shop in Carle Place. More than 800 pounds of food was delivered to the Corpus Christi food pantry, located at 155 Garfield Ave. in Mineola.
