Stars were out on Long Island on Monday, May 2, for the premiere of the new movie The Secret Garden, a new-age spy thriller. The event took place at Soundview Cinemas and was the inaugural Hollywood debut for
AJ Cross.
The Secret Garden is the singular vision of AJ Cross, a filmmaker and actor who plays the lead role. Cross delivers a memorable performance as Peter Sebastian, a lone spy who must rise above the fray to be a savior for humanity and may be among a class of his own. Peter must use his survival skills to outsmart the terrorists but must show courage under fire. Peter’s only hope is to rely on himself and his sole counterpart, a young CIA ingénue played by Kate Surinskaya, as they try to disarm the terrorists. Will Peter win out in the end or will the terrorists get the upper hand? There is much to savor in a movie that stands out as a top billing.
Soundview Cinemas was a perfect venue for a Hollywood-style premiere where cast and crew were gathered for an opening night. It was an exciting debut and may have singled out Cross’s place as a talented director and actor who is also the creator of a iconic movie hero. According to Cross, the movie was the outcome of years of planning and writing, and, by creating an iconic hero, there is a chance that he may come back for a sequel that could become a new kind of spy movie franchise.
