The Plainview-Old Bethpage community will join together to honor fallen heroes with the annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 30.

This year’s parade kicks off on Old Country Road and concludes with a dedication ceremony at the Plainview Pool on Washington Avenue. Honoring fallen military veterans, the ceremony will include servicemen and women, families, Veterans of Foreign Wars and military vehicles. The event is organized by the Plainview-Old Bethpage Memorial Day Parade Committee.

Many different organizations have marched in the Plainview parade in years past, including the Plainview-Old Bethpage Volunteer Fire Department, Plainview soccer and baseball teams, Boy and Girl Scout troops, the POB Senior Club, elementary schools, churches, temples, the Chamber of Commerce, classic cars and others.
