Memorial Field Has Grand Opening Celebration

A grand-opening celebration of a new sports-themed playground and baseball field #3 was held at Memorial Field on Sunday, May 22.

The Great Neck Park District, in cooperation with Great Neck Little League, offered a Baseball Skills Competition on the new field. The event was free, and included a balloon artist, face painting, DJ music, a variety of free giveaways, ballpark food and more.

Many residents came out to enjoy the day. If you haven’t been there yet, be sure to visit Memorial Field and check out the new playground and baseball field.
