Letter to the Editor: Support for Candidate

As a former Trustee for the Village of Manorhaven I had a unique perspective into Village politics. As part of a grassroots party with Mayor Giovanna Giunta, I had seen first hand how the administration and especially the Mayor were subjected to all kinds of dirty politics and divisive tactics in an attempt to try and keep the decade long reign of the status quo in power. We however persevered and won! Mayor Guinta brought a true revival for Manorhaven with her projects and initiatives.

Now once again the same type of nasty tactics by the same special interest and big business group are being used against Candidate for Mayor Gary Pagano, a former mayor who did tremendous good for Manorhaven during his 3-terms as Mayor in the 90s. These tactics speak to the lack of character and decency of the people who use them and the candidates who condone them.Letter to the Editor Featured Image

Manorhaven has had enough of this type of political nastiness and negativity meant only to bring back Big Business’s control over our Village. As a former trustee and a resident of Manorhaven I endorse decency, expertise and concern in government and in our elected officials. That is why I highly support and recommend Gary Pagano for Mayor. He was a highly respected, proactive. caring and provenly successful former Mayor and steward of our village from 1992-1998. We are very fortunate he is running again. I also highly support two excellent candidates for trustees, Barbara Ruemenapp and Ken Kraft, whose service to our community and caring is part of their exemplary records as public servant and neighbors. Your support and vote are needed to insure the future of Manorhaven will be in the best interest and hands of the people, not gobbled up by a political machine.

Please make an effort to come out to vote on June 21st for Gary Pagano, Barbara Rumenapp and Ken Kraft (Rows A&C). We know firsthand that Every Vote Counts.
