There has been a complete lack of effective code enforcement and serious quality-of-life issues in the Village of Manorhaven for the past several years. I, as well as many residents, have attempted to report and alert the present and past administrations that the village is in a deplorable state due to the absence of vital code enforcement. It always fell on deaf ears. Most importantly, the residents are very concerned about preserving the waterfront, which is in keeping with the nautical character of the village, secondly, attacking the problem of overbuilding. I urge residents to cast their vote for Gary Pagano, a former mayor of the village when it was in disarray to one that became pristine at the time. Pagano is a man who is extremely knowledgeable in waterfront matters, effective code enforcement and, above all, impeccable integrity. He has done it before as mayor. We desperately need him now. Do the right thing, vote for Gary Pagano of the Above Board Party on June 21 at Village Hall. Save our village.
