Senior Ashley Jablonowski recently signed her letter of intent to play lacrosse at Hartwick College in Oneonta. Jablonowski has been playing lacrosse since first grade and it is very exciting that she will be continuing her athletic career at Hartwick College.
As Island Trees’ goalie and one of this year’s captain, Jablonowski is a four-year member of the Island Trees women’s varsity lacrosse team and has started for the last three seasons. She has had a great four years at Island Trees High School with more than 380 saves in her career. In the 2015 season, she helped guide her team to a 13-0 record in an undefeated regular season. Jablonowski has been a valuable asset to the team both in her athletic abilities and her leadership skills. She plans to study biology at Hartwick College.
Island Trees is going to miss her, but Hartwick is lucky to have such a talented player and person.
