Oyster Bay: We Need Lifeguards

Pool_A

Town of Oyster Bay Councilman Joseph D. Muscarella announced that registration is continuing for individuals interested in working as lifeguard for the 2016 summer season at town pools which gets underway on June 20.

The position is meant for those who are experienced swimmers and up for the challenge.
Muscarella noted that applicants must pass a 30-hour American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course administered by the Town Department of Parks that will certify the applicants in CPR, first aid, and other lifeguard techniques.

Applicants interested in becoming a lifeguard are encouraged to register as soon as possible, as space is limited. Call the Department of Parks at 516-797-4167 for more information.
