Village of Lake Success Mayor Ronald S. Cooper received a citation from Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum at village hall prior to his last board of trustees meeting.
The citation honors Cooper, who will be retiring this month after serving the village with distinction as mayor for 10 years and before that as trustee for eight years.
“Mayor Cooper has worked tirelessly to provide excellent services to the community while improving the quality of life,” said Birnbaum. “I join with many others to thank Mayor Cooper for his efforts and wish him much health and happiness as he begins his retirement.”
