The Great South Bay Music Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with a lineup of big names including Graham Nash, Third Eye Blind, Blues Traveler and Lonestar.
The festival began Thursday, July 14, and continues through Sunday, July 17, at Shorefront Park in Patchogue. Thousands of fans turned out for opening day of the longest running and largest four-day American-themed music, art and cultural family event.
Situated on the Great South Bay of Long Island, the festival features approximately 60 performers on four stages from legends to contemporary favorites, as well as local artists of classic rock, jazz, jamband, country, folk, zydeco, funk and a variety of other types of American music.

The artisan market features a diverse collection of handmade and imported creations at vendor booths. The Kidzone offers kid-friendly entertainment all day Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to the food court, guests can find several beer and wine gardens scattered about.
