The Town of North Hempstead is hosting a Skate Board Competition at Manorhaven Park in Port Washington on Saturday, July 16 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The contest, which is being held in memory of Port Washington resident Dylan A. Laker, is open to all skaters.
There will be prizes and a live DJ. The event is being co-sponsored by the Town, the Laker Family, and Friends of Dylan. Free registration and practice from 12 p.m. to p.m. Competition begins at 1 p.m. at Manorhaven Park Skate Park at 158 Manorhaven Blvd. Port Washington.
