Thanks to the support of the Great Neck Park District and Superintendent Jason Marra, a sailing club has been formed in Great Neck. The Rhodes 19 Yacht Club provides opportunities for sailing enthusiasts who don’t own a boat.
Club members share a 19-foot sailboat that is generously maintained and moored by the Great Neck Park District. Membership entails a fee to cover the costs of insurance and incidentals. The club is open for those with sailing skills, including residents who have completed Great Neck Park District Sailing School. For more information, contact hr18@nyu.edu.
