Thomas Reynolds, president of Reynolds Consulting Services, LLC, of Hicksville, was honored recently with the John Brower Jr. Memorial Award at the 22nd annual Outreach Long Island Luncheon.
The event raised more than $200,000, primarily from the Long Island business community, to support the agency that provides alcohol and drug treatment to teens and adults. The award was created by Outreach to honor John Brower Jr. who died of an overdose in 2014. Since then, his parents, John Sr. and Jody of Dix Hills, along with his siblings, Kristen and Robert, established the foundation to support those with addiction issues. They have donated more than $37,000 to Outreach via the foundation. Also honored at the Outreach luncheon were Matthew Chartrand, business manager-FST, Iron Workers Local 361, and James M. Griffin, 1st vice president, director of branch banking, Astoria Bank. If you or someone you know needs help with a drug or alcohol problem, visit Outreach at opiny.org.
