An 18-year-old man “with significant lacerations” was found dead in Greenlawn Park in his hometown of Greenlawn over the weekend, Suffolk County police said.
A visitor walking through the park discovered the body of Estiven Abrego Gomez and flagged down a passing motorist, who called 911 at 7:11 a.m. Saturday, police said.
The Suffolk County Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
