A fall favorite for families, Party in the Park will take place on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. Organized by Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington, the event will be held at Blumenfeld Family Park.
Two exciting new activities are being added this year. All five elementary schools have already pledged ways to help conserve resources and protect our environment through Residents Get Your Green On program. This year, Party in the Park will entertain and educate with hands-on environmental activities, along with a photo booth complete with Get Your Green On photo props. Plus, Landmark on Main Street is sponsoring a stage with live music from 1 to 5 p.m.
Beloved favorites like carnival games, a trackless train that will bring riders through the park, miniature golf, a batter-up game, basketball, an environmental scavenger hunt, face painting and cotton candy will be offered again this year.
“Party in the Park is such a wonderful event for kids from 2 to 102.Children and their parents have a great time together,” Residents Director of Development Lisa Grossman said. “What’s better than enjoying all these great activities with family and friends in beautiful Blumenfeld Park?”
