A 60-year-old Bay Shore man was fatally hit by a car while crossing a road in Deer Park over the weekend.
Suffolk County police said Nicholas Correa was walking across Commack Road at the corner of Grand Boulevard when he was hit by a southbound Cadillac at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
First Squad detectives impounded the vehicle and are continuing the investigation.
