File Management
Register at the Reference Desk in the main library for this 2 p.m. class that will be held at the Computer & Resource Center. A hands-on class to teach participants the all-important cut, copy and paste; managing folders; selecting files; deleting files and folders; moving things around on a PC and more.
Paint Party
Register online for this class being held from 6 to 8 p.m. Celicia will instruct how to paint a one-of-a-kind painting. No experience is required. Light refreshments will be served. Limit: 20 adults. Fee: $5 cash only. No refunds.
Intermediate Yoga
Register online for eight classes running on Thursdays from Sept. 22 to Nov. 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the Computer & Resource Center. Fee: $35 check or money order. Limit: 24.

Musical Storyteller
At 2 p.m., the library presents Keith Munslow in partnership with the Town of Oyster Bay Children’s Magical Music and More. No registration required. Pick up a numbered ticket in the children’s room before the show begins. His high-energy show will delight everyone with a unique mix of funny, original songs and stories, tongue-twisting poems, oddball characters and on-the-spot cartoon drawings. His skillful drawing and upbeat quick wit will leave the audience howling.

Book to Film Discussion
Join the library at noon for a discussion on the novel Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot and how it is brought to life on the big screen. Refreshments will be served. Open to all.

At 1:30 p.m., the library will screen Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot. Rated R, 112 minutes. Cable news producer Kim Barker (Tina Fey) decides to shake up her routine by taking a daring new assignment in Kabul, Afghanistan. Dislodged from her comfortable American lifestyle, Barker finds herself in the middle of an out-of-control war zone.

Registration for all computer classes will be held at the Reference Desk in the main library, and classes will be held at the Computer & Resource Center. Learn to create, edit, save, and print documents. You will also learn to cut and paste, format text, adjust spacing and margins, create headers, download pictures, and more. Tuesday, Sept. 27, and Thursday, Sept. 29, at 6:30 p.m.

Chocolate Haunted House
Hicksville residents can begin registering online for this class slated for Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m. Create a wonderful centerpiece for any Halloween party. Open registration begins on Friday, Sept. 30, at 9 a.m. No fee. Space is limited.
Pin/Pendant Workshop
Start registering online for this class slated for Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m. Create a lovely pin/pendant using natural materials and real pearls. You’ll also decorate and take home a gift box for your creation. Tarnish-resistant chains will be available for $7 each the day of the class. No fee. Limit: 20 adults.
Breast Cancer Information Table
A representative from the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program will be on hand to pass out information and answer questions from 4 to 6 p.m. The table will be set up in the lobby.
