National Merit Commended Students Announced

The Levittown School District is pleased to announce that the National Merit Scholarship Program has named eight high school seniors Commended Students. Division Avenue High School’s Dawn Kim, Danielle Mahn, Nicholas Motschmann and Faraz Tajammul and MacArthur High School’s Casey Butcher, Carissa Giuliano, Jake Iannacone and James May are among the 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.

Commended Students are recognized for having placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition by taking the 2015 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
