Legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer and guitarist Steve Miller is bringing his timeless, blues-infused songs to The Paramount in Huntington for two unforgettable nights of music on November 2nd & 3nd as some of the last stops on his extended Summer/Fall 2016 tour.

Currently celebrating 50 years as a songwriter and performer, Miller is known for chart-topping hits “Fly Like An Eagle,” “Rock’n Me,” “Take the Money and Run,” “Jet Airliner,” “Abracadabra” and “Jungle Love,” among many others, and is living testament to rock’s continued power and relevance.

Older fans will relish his radio-dominating tunes from the ’70s and early ’80s, and younger fans introduced to his famous Steve Miller Band via his popular Greatest Hits 1974-78 album will be able to witness this amazing musician live for the first time.

Miller has a long-storied career that began literally in his infancy, when his parents’ best friend, guitar legend Les Paul, was chosen to be Miller’s godfather. They maintained a close, lifelong relationship, and Paul remained Miller’s mentor and confidante until his death in 2009.

In 1968, “Livin’ in the USA” became Miller’s first minor hit, and in 1973 “The Joker” clinched No. 1 on the charts, launching his stardom.

Hit after hit followed, fast and furiously. Miller’s writing was so prolific that his greatest hits album sold an astonishing 13 million copies, out-selling even The Beatles’ Abbey Road.

Even with these amazing statistics, Miller was passed over for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for 22 years. When he finally accepted the honor this past April at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, his blistering acceptance speech about the HOF management grabbed headlines around the world.

Miller has vowed to use his status to help artists and songwriters keep their intellectual property rights. On the advice of Les Paul, Miller never surrendered his publishing rights and kept full artistic control over all his recordings throughout his career. The royalties he earned on “The Joker” alone secured his future. Its success gave him the ability to time off to write and record songs such as “Fly Like an Eagle” and “Book of Dreams.”

The 72-year-old Wisconsin-born Miller recently moved to Manhattan, and just as he declares in the lyrics of his hit “Abracadabra,” he simply can’t cool down—making these end-of-tour gigs at The Paramount destined to be two for the books!

I heat up, I can’t cool down
You got me spinning
‘Round and ’round
‘Round and ’round and ’round it goes
Where it stops nobody knows
