The Mineola Union Free School District Board of Education recognized several students at its Oct. 6 meeting, as part of a new program.
Honored for October was All-State musician Zachary Sloan (fourth from right), Girls Who Code participant Daniela Monroy (third from left), and two high school students who participated in a summer program at Adelphi—Jennifer Boshans and Molly Donelan (fourth and sixth from left, respectively). The program will continue to highlight student achievements at each of the board’s workshop meetings throughout the year.
