The Great Neck Water Pollution Control District election will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 1 to 9 p.m. Petitions for retiring Commissioner Deena Lesser’s board seat were due on Nov. 10 and Patty Katz is the only candidate on the ballot for the seat, which runs from Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2019. The polling place for those in the North Election District is Great Neck House, 14 Arrandale Ave. Those in the South Election District vote at the Great Neck Social Center at 80 Grace Ave. For more information, visit www.gnwpcd.net.
