On Sunday, Nov. 27, the Hicksville Fire Department held its annual Holiday Fire Safety Awareness day. All companies in the department covered the entire district, giving out popcorn balls and spreading the word on holiday fire safety. This has been a long standing tradition in the department and it is very well received by the community.
