Shop at the Stepping Stones Lighthouse Barnes & Noble Bookfair at 1542 Northern Blvd. in Manhasset on Sunday, Dec. 18, and a portion of your payment will go toward the restoration of the lighthouse. From 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., shoppers will be able to accomplish two feats—finding holiday gifts and supporting a historic Great Neck structure.
At 2 p.m., join authors Alice Kasten and Leila Mattson for a discussion and Q&A of their book Great Neck from the Images of America series, followed by an update on the restoration of the lighthouse.
Those unable to attend can support the lighthouse when shopping at www.bn.com/bookfairs from Dec. 18 to 23 by entering book fair ID #12052858 at checkout.
A percentage of every purchase will benefit Stepping Stones Lighthouse, including at the café, when shoppers tell the cashiers that they are there to support the book fair.
