New 2017 Creative Cups Art Calendar that supports help for breast cancer patients

A work of art created by Floral Park resident Stephanie Castro and five other women entitled “Circles of Life” has been selected to appear in the 2017 calendar of the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support. The work is one of 13 pieces out of 136 that was chosen for the fundraising calendar.

Each page of the calendar shows a Creative Cup—an ordinary bra that has been transformed into a work of art by people throughout the U.S. “Circles of Support” celebrates this journey of this group of businesswomen as they have provided support for each other—two of the women are breast cancer survivors.

The calendar sells for $20 and all profits support the work of the Adelphi breast cancer program, which provides information and emotional support to breast cancer patients throughout New York State and their families.
