The Fleet Reserve Association (FRA) Long Island Chapter 71 seeks new members for its recently revitalized chapter.
Requirements for membership are easy. You must have served for a single day as an enlisted member of the Sea Services (USN, USMC, USCG). There are no date requirements.
The FRA Branch home is located in East Rockaway at the American Legion Post 958 at 71 Main St.
The February meeting is on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 7:30 p.m., but regular membership meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. with refreshments being served.
