The Allenwood Park Civic Association will be sponsoring a Great Neck school board candidates forum on Tuesday, May 9, at 8:30 p.m. at Great Neck House, 14 Arrandale Ave.
Nikolas Kron and Jeffrey Shi are running for the board seat currently held by Lawrence Gross, who is not seeking reelection. Ilya Aronovich and Rebecca Sassouni are running for the open seat currently held by Susan Healy, who is not seeking reelection.

The Allenwood Park Civic Association is a non-partisan civic organization that was established in 1952 to represent the hundreds of residents of the unincorporated areas of Great Neck near Allenwood Park.
The Board of Education trustee election, budget and bond votes will be held from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16. Qualified district residents who live north of the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) can vote at the Baker School, located at 69 Baker Hill Rd. Residents who live south of the LIRR may vote at South High School, 341 Lakeville Rd. For voter registration and absentee ballot information, call the office of the district clerk at 516-441-4020.
