As a Great Neck resident since 1974, I have watched Great Neck evolve over the years. I chose to reside with my family and raise my children in this wonderful town because of all that Great Neck has to offer. The community, parks, amenities and most particularly the prestigious schools provide much of its appeal. I have relied on the school board to ensure and maintain the standards of Great Neck Public School (GNPS) and to keep reaching for higher levels. The volunteers of the Board of Education (BOE) have devoted years of service to our community for no compensation other than the knowledge that they have given of themselves to better the community and the school system.
I’ve known Nikolas Kron for more than 20 years, since he married my friend, Vivian. Nikolas Kron is a man of extreme integrity. He is smart, honest and dedicated to making this world and the Great Neck community a better place. The BOE would greatly benefit from his many years of finance experience as a senior manager at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and more than 13 years as an entrepreneur, real estate professional and executive of his own business. He is a true family man dedicated to his wife and children and regularly attends his children’s activities, concerts and assemblies. These attributes are what I believe make Nikolas Kron well suited for a position on the BOE. The GNPS would be lucky to have this man serve on the board.
Please get out and vote on May 16 and pass the budget and the bond and elect Nikolas Kron to the Board of Ed.
