Meet at Port Washington Town Dock’s Tug Boat
Stroll the shoreline with our knowledgeable guide while learning the fascinating history of early Port Washington. Topics include the livelihoods that helped Port develop into the town you know today, including shell fishing, sand mining, aviation, tidal mills, the restaurants, the many hotels and much more. Feel free to bring a bagged lunch to enjoy at the north dock at the end of the tour. Bench stops along the way. If weather is inclement, please check www.cowneck.org that morning.
