Two brothers were arrested for their alleged roles in killing a 35-year-old Hempstead man in Valley Stream four months ago, Nassau County police said.
Mickey Corley, 37, of Lakeview, was charged with second-degree murder and 40-year-old Christopher Corley of Nyack was charged with hindering prosecution.
Police responded to a shooting outside Sonny O’s Pub on West Merrick Road, where they found Shaleek Jenkins suffering from bullet wounds shortly after 4 a.m. on Monday, March 13.
The victim was taken to Franklin Hospital, where he was pronounced dead an hour later.
The Corley brothers will be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.
