Prince, Bella Among Pups Up for Adoption on Long Island

Prince
Prince

Much like a fairy tale, it would be a dream come true for Prince and Bella to find their forever homes this week. Read all about how you can adopt them today!

Handsome Prince was surrendered to the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter by his owner because they were moving and couldn’t take him along. Prince was adopted from a shelter in Florida at just four months old. His owners had him for just nine months before surrendering him to the shelter.

Prince is a smart young pup who already knows the commands “sit”, “come” and “paw.” He has made a lot of friends at the shelter who all have fabulous things to say about him: He is an excellent walker, one of the best loose leash walkers around! Prince is attentive and friendly with everyone.

Prince is smart, responsive and always looking to love. He also seems very much house broken. Prince would love nothing more than to get himself back into a loving home ASAP.

Across the street at Last Hope Animal Rescue is Bella! She is an adorable brown Chihuahua weighing just about 10 pounds and about 6 years old. Bella was rescued in Kentucky and brought to Long Island in search of her forever home.

Bella loves going on walks and playtime, is super sweet and absolutely lovable! Bella would love a soft lap on which to rest her head for the rest of her life–why not make that lap yours?!
