Fire department honors poster contest winners
The Hicksville Fire Department held its annual fire prevention poster contest awards ceremony at Hicksville FD Station #1 on East Marie Street on Nov. 19. All of the schools in the fire district participated and the winners were honored for their outstanding posters. The students’ posters were hung up around the station, and the winners received a plaque and backpack in recognition of their accomplishment.
