Village Elections Coming In March

Village residents of the Incorporated Villages of Flower Hill, Munsey Park, Plandome, Plandome Heights and Plandome Manor will go to the polls on Tuesday, March 20, to vote for village elections. All villages are running uncontested elections with the exception of the village of Munsey Park.

In Flower Hill, Robert McNamara is running for re-election as mayor along with three trustees: Kate Hirsch, Randall Rosenbaum and Gary Lewandowski. Flower Hill elections will occur at 1 Bonnie Heights Rd. in Manhasset.

In Munsey Park, Deputy Mayor John Lippmann’s and trustee Jen Noone’s seats are up for re-election. Lippmann has decided not to run for re-election; Noone will. Three Munsey Park residents are running for the open seats: Nathy Yakaitis, Brian Dunning and Anthony Sabino. In the Village of Plandome, Deputy Mayor Ray Herbert and Trustee Andrew Bartels are both running for re-election. Voting will be held at Plandome Village Hall.

In Plandome Heights, Mayor Kenneth Riscica is running for re-election as are trustees Alvin Solomon, Dianne Sheehan and Silva Ferman.Voting. It will be held at Plandome Village Hall at 65 South Dr.

In Plandome Manor, Trustees Tony DeSousa and Patricia O’Neill are running unopposed. Plandome Manor residents will cast their ballot at Village Hall at 55 Manhasset Ave.
