Lutherans Win Souper Bowl

The challenge to collect 100 cans of soup to fulfill a contribution commitment for the New Life Center’s pantry turned the total score to 180 cans of soup; 80 more than the goal. Added to the contribution was also a sundry amount of coffee, pasta, juice and protein foods to help feed the hungry on Long Island. The next collection is planned for Easter meals.
