The Manhasset Chamber of Commerce (MCOC) will hold a Chamber Breakfast for all merchants to “Let Your Voice Be Heard.” The breakfast forum is open to all businesses in Manhasset, regardless of whether or not they are chamber members, to discuss issues that are facing their businesses and how the chamber can help. The changing dynamics of Manhasset as well as the impact of online commerce impact the business owners who set up shop in the neighborhood. The chamber is a vital source of information and power when working together as one voice.
Chamber co-president Stephanie Solomon is very eager to have this forum and allow businesses to have a voice.
“We are hosting this breakfast to give a voice to the merchants and business owners of Manhasset,” said Solomon. “We would love to hear their input on ways the chamber can help drive business to their establishments. The chamber encourages people to shop local and foster personal relationships to allow for repeat business and referrals and thus we want to know what role the chamber can play.”
The opportunity to get together and better understand the needs of the business community enables the chamber to make progress on behalf of their membership.
There are so many opportunities to enhance the business community in Manhasset, and “the merchants and business owners’ voices must be heard,” said Katie Miller, secretary of the MCOC.
Come and enjoy eggs (any style) with hash browns and a stack of world famous IHOP pancakes, as well as unlimited coffee or tea, and share your views. The chamber breakfast will be held on Wednesday, March 29, at the International House of Pancakes located at 1529 Northern Blvd. from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Cost of the event is $15 and is payable in advance on the Chamber of Commerce website at www.manhassetny.org.
