Join the Girl Scouts of the Plains Service Unit as they honor a soldier who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Danny Fuentes was a 2005 graduate of Island Tress High School. He was tragically killed at war on April 6, 2007.
The group will line up outside of 27 Trapper Ln. at 6:50 p.m. At 7 p.m., they will march down the street to the home of the late Danny Fuentes where his family still lives. The group will knock on the door and sing “God Bless the USA,” and present the family with a gift from The Plains.
Girl Scouts will be dressed in uniform and patriotic apparel. Organizers ask families and supporters to wear red, white and blue.
