Students at Yeshiva Har Torah celebrated Yom Ha’atzmaut, or Israeli Independence Day, on Thursday, April 19. This year marks Israel’s 70th anniversary, commemorating the signing of the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948 by David Ben-Gurion, who became Israel’s first prime minister.
