Each year the Manhasset Chapter of AHRC Nassau hosts a fundraising event to help benefit AHRC Nassau. The annual fundraising event will be held on Thursday, May 31, at Manhasset Bay Yacht Club with a theme of Sail into Summer.
The night begins at 7 p.m. with summer cocktails and appetizers on the terrace overlooking beautiful Manhasset Bay. The evening continues with a DJ and dancing, summer inspired buffet, silent auction, raffles and the best sunset in the Manhasset area. Guests are welcome to dress in country club casual attire. The cost for the evening is $135 per person.
AHRC Nassau is dedicated to improving the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping them to live self-directed lives. AHRC Nassau works tirelessly to support its clients and their families through its amazing programs and supportive housing. AHRC Nassau supports more than 2,200 people and their families through services including family respite services, day habilitation, community habilitation, prevocational and supported employment, recreational opportunities and residential services.
The chapter relies solely on the generous donations of the community.
