Long Islanders are not strangers to the many shopping malls that stand across the 118 mile stretch of land we call home. Shopping, just like bragging about how our bagels are better than anywhere else’s, is a hobby much enjoyed, especially in the summer. While Roosevelt Field, the 10th largest mall in America, by the way, may be Nassau County’s shopping mecca, it is entirely enclosed.

With warm weather already upon us, treat yourself to a day of shopping, but enjoy it somewhere where you can enjoy the fresh air and the pleasure of feeling the sun’s heat on your skin.

Americana Manhasset

2060 Northern Blvd., Manhasset

An icon of luxury shopping, the Americana may not be an everyday shopping destination, but its pristine sidewalks and high-end retailers make for a fun day of window shopping and aesthetically-pleasing Instagram photos. Located on the Miracle Mile, check out other shops along this road.
