On Aug. 27, it’s music Mondays at the Bay Street Theater with the sultry Mandy Gonzalez  in an unforgettable evening of elegance, romance and celebration.

The unmatched power and grace of Mandy’s signature style turns new songs into instant classics and makes classics new again.

On Aug. 31, Humble Pie warms up the Suffolk Theater. The legacy of Humble Pie looms large, they will be performing hit songs such as “Hot and Nasty,” “30 Days in the Hole,” and “I Don’t Need No Doctor.”

Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center welcomes Johnnyswim on Sept. 1.

The husband-and-wife duo of Abner and Amanda are the taking the world by storm. Amanda is the daughter of the ’70s sensation, Donna Summer you’ll see that the apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree!

All summer through Sept. 2, join the Viking Fleet and CRESLI on a whale watching adventure. On Sundays and Wednesdays you’ll have the opportunity to see, minke, finback and humpback whales.

To top it all off, the tour is narrated by a qualified marine biologist who will answer your questions.

One of the most magical places on Long Island is Shelter Island. While you’re there, you must eat at the Shelter Island Heights Pharmacy. At this throwback to the ’50s, you can fill your prescription and fill up on a ice cream float.
