A Great Neck man was arrested for multiple burglaries that occurred during the month of September 2018, according to Major Case Bureau detectives from the Nassau County Police Department Burglary Pattern Team.
After a subsequent investigation by detectives, David Mintz, 36, of Iris Lane, was identified as the person responsible for burglaries in Manhasset and Roslyn.
On Sept. 3 at 5:11 a.m., Mintz entered through a rear window of Studio Hair Styling at 15 Bayview Ave. in Manhasset. No proceeds were taken.
At 11:30 p.m. later that day, Mintz entered through a bathroom window and removed an undisclosed amount of cash, as well as a Chase Visa credit card, from the register of Forbici Hair Salon, located at 397 Plandome Rd. in Manhasset.
On Sept. 20 at 1:04 a.m., Mintz entered through a rear door of Joy Acupuncture at 59 Mineola Ave. in Roslyn Heights. No proceeds were taken.
Mintz was located in the parking lot of 250 Fulton Ave. in Hempstead by detectives on Oct. 3 at 2:40 p.m. and was placed under arrest.
He is charged with three counts of third-degree burglary and will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Oct. 4.
