Rusty e1542319712881
Rusty

Available for adoption at Almost Home Animal Rescue:

Cool dude Rusty is a handsome 3-year-old boy that is known for his sweet temperament and mellow personality. Orange cats are the coolest and Rusty is no exception. He loves being pet and just hanging out with his favorite humans. Oh, and he gets along with other cats too! Bonus! If you can open your home to Rusty, please contact Almost Home Animal Rescue at almosthomeli.org or call 631-627-3665 today!

Gabel
Gabel

Available for adoption at Bideawee:

Gabel is quite the handsome, bold and brilliant boy! He is a sweet, handsome, and spirited pooch, who is all about life, making friends, and the next adventure. He would love nothing more in life than an equally jubilant family, who is always on the go!

Whether it be hiking, jogging, or a fun trip into town, he is certainly up for any expedition. Not to mention, he’s a fast learner, and would love to continue to learn and grow! A mature family that is gung-ho for obedience training and fun games would be such fun for Gabel. If this gorgeous guy sounds like your perfect match, check out his webpage.

Rabbit
Rabbit

Meet Rabbit! She is a beautiful and spirited puppy, who is truly one-of-a-kind. Donning a fantastic chocolate and caramel brindle coat, a tiny tail, and the most endearing eyes, she really is hard not to fall in love with in but a glance.

Every bit as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside, Rabbit truly encompasses only the loveliest qualities. She is seeking a family that shares in her jubilant nature, who can be by her side all day. Rabbit longs to explore the world, make new friends, and learn all about life. Any active family that loves to jog or hike would certainly be ideal. If Rabbit sounds like your idyllic match, check out her webpage.

Marco
Marco

Handsome 2-year-old Marco came to Bideawee with his brother and friend, Polo. They are both immensely sweet kitties. Marco is a big boy with a big heart to match. Sweet and social, he lives to love. Polo has found his forever home, but Marco still needs to find his forever family. Check out Marco’s webpage.

Pumpkin e1542320343891
Pumpkin

This adorable little girl is Pumpkin. She was found trapped inside of a tire by a Good Samaritan, when she just was 4 months old, and was brought to Bideawee for housing and care. They took one look at her and swept her right under their wing.

Pumpkin is a social and excitable domestic short-hair kitty. She has a great deal of playful, kitten-like energy still. Pumpkin would be pleased as punch to chase a string around for hours. She is quite the socialite, too, and loves to strut around; she believes that the world is her playground.

Pumpkin is quite unique in both personality and creation; she is not only zesty, but she is an uncommon find, as orange female cats are a rarity! This 7-year-old gal is seeking an equally special home to call her own. Pumpkin tends to become worked up when she receives more attention at one time than she can handle, and so she would do best in an adult home with cat-savvy adopters.

All Pumpkin needs is a chance with the right family! Won’t you please consider adopting this beautiful girl? Check out her webpage!

For more information about adopting Gabel, Rabbit, Marco or Pumpkin, contact the Bideawee adoption center located at 118 Old Country Rd., Westhampton, or call 631-684-0079.

Stanleigh
Stanleigh

Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America:

Stanleigh (BF2351) was discovered fending for herself outdoors and good Samaritan delivered her to North Shore’s Adoption Center.  This senior lady is deaf, toothless, and declawed. She’s also being treated for chronic renal disease. If you’re an experienced cat owner (with no other cats in your home at present,) and willing to take on her special needs, Stanleigh will be a perfect addition to your family.  She’s affectionate, likes a good ear rub and a nap in the sunbeams by a window.  In honor of Senior Pet Adoption Month, consider taking this survivor home with you.

Sam Adams
Sam Adams

Sam Adams (T67620) is a handsome hound mix looking for a family of his own. This sweet senior has some special needs, but that doesn’t hold him back. Sam is energetic, playful, and would do well in a home with children over 11-years-old who can keep up with him!! Sam is housebroken, handles well on leash, and gets along well with other dogs. If you’re interested in meeting Sam Adams, contact our Foster Manager at [email protected] or 516-883-7900, ext. 352.

Grace
Grace

Available for adoption through the No Kill Project:

Grace is an approximately 2-year-old lab mix who was dumped at a high kill shelter in rural Texas. Grace was abandoned with her 11 puppies; all of which were saved along with 16 other orphaned puppies. Grace has seen her fair share of neglect and abuse.

Severely emaciated and with bb and pellet gun fragments in her body, Grace has not known a kind hand. Though terribly abused and neglected, Grace is incredibly sweet and loving, never once having showed an ounce of aggression even when handled by veterinarians. She is cautious that she will be hit by hiding her face but once she knows that you aren’t hurting her, she melts into your loving hands.

She is gentle and calm and is learning what love is in the foster home that she currently resides in. Grace will soon be ready to find her forever home. We are looking for a home that understands that Grace will need patience and time to learn what love is. She will need time to learn that not all people will hurt her and that she will always have a nice full belly at night.

For more information about adopting Grace, please contact The No Kill Project at [email protected]

As always, thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt, never shop…pass it on!
