Long Island surgeon, Dr. Thomas Davenport recently received the Donald R. Laub Humanitarian Award from Resurge International. Davenport was awarded the honor for volunteering his time and talent to individuals in need for more than 15 years. In that time, he has visited Bhutan, Brazil, Cambodia, Ecuador, India, Mali, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, Peru and the Philippines, performing reconstructive surgeries and training others in reconstructive plastic surgery.
He is truly an inspiring member of the Long Island community who is making a difference across the globe.
Davenport is a partner at the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group (the largest and longest-running private plastic surgery practice in the U.S.), as well as Director of Microsurgery, Director of Surgical Wound Care and Chief of Plastic Surgery at NYU Winthrop Hospital.
