BILLY JOEL
Long Island’s most famous musician will put fans in a “New York State of Mind” for New Year’s Eve when the Hicksville native takes center stage at the region’s largest arena. Billy Joel will make a rare local appearance at NYCB Live, Home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in between his monthly Madison Square Garden residency, allowing fans of The Piano Man to ring in 2019 with classics such as “Movin’ Out,” “The Stranger,” and “We Didn’t Start The Fire.” And if it’s anything like his concert at the coliseum, when he opened the Uniondale arena last year after its renovation, don’t be surprised if there is a celebrity cameo or two.
