NELLY
Nelly

Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America:

If you think Nelly’s nose is cute, you should check out her personality. Nelly (reference #MA3826) is a curious, 2-year-old young lady that wants to learn everything about you. Her youthful energy will keep you on your toes as she explores her very first home before settling in with you for some cuddles.

A home with children 12 and up in age will be ideal for her as her exuberance can be a lot for young children to keep up with. Water fascinates her so prepare to have company when you brush your teeth. If you can keep up with her demands for ear rubs, you’re the perfect match to her adorable personality!

Reach out to DoritS@animalleague.org if you’d like to learn more about Nelly.

NIGEL and DARWIN
Nigel and Darwin

A local hero discovered these five-year-old domestic short hair pair. Darwin (the tabby) and Nigel (the tuxedo) (reference #’s BF2752 and BF2753) were in desperate need of help and this bonded duo found a safe space with North Shore Animal League America.

Nigel is delighted to acquaint himself with new human friends and his trust is easily won with the slightest bit of attention. Darwin watches with wide, trusting eyes and melts with just a hint of tenderness.

In NSALA’s care, they discovered these brothers have mild cases of hyper-cardiomyopathy, a medical condition easily cared for and covered through their fully accredited medical center. These sweet boys can’t tell us how they ended up needing help, but NSALA is delighted to promise them a bright future. All they need is a new hero to scoop them up and bring them home for good!

If you’re interested in adopting our Dynamic Duo, please contact DoritS@animalleague.org

MAGENTA
Magenta

Magenta (reference #R165368) was a lucky young lady when her rescuers brought her to our Medical Center where she was treated for a palette wound. Now fully recovered, it is her spirit that needs mending. She’s made great strides in her calm foster home where she has befriended the family cat.

A whole new Magenta is emerging as she gains confidence from her companion. NSALA is seeking a peaceful, predictable home with older children and adults experienced with fearful cats who will give her patience and a comfy bed. Because she has gained so much from her feline tutor, she will do best with a confident cat in her new home.

Could Magenta be your newest family member? If so, please email DoritS@animalleague.org

Butch
Butch

Available for adoption at Second Chance Rescue:

Butch. Is. A. Sweetheart!

Butch is an awesome boy, he is so calm and loving with a stellar temperament, and he is so handsome to boot. At just 2 years old, this beautiful boy was slated for euthanasia at a high-kill municipal shelter, when Second Chance Rescue received a plea for help.

The volunteers were all begging for his life, and Second Chance saw his pictures and videos, playing with other dogs, and being so sweet and loving with people, they couldn’t let him go down.

As always, thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt, never shop…pass it on!
