The Oyster Festival features two food courts. The main food court, named in honor of one of the beloved founders of the Oyster Festival, the Tom Reardon Memorial Food Court. The second court is the Oyster Booth Food Court, presented by Newsday. Together, the two food courts are the festival’s heart and soul. With more than 60 food choices, even the pickiest of eaters will find much to savor. The main attraction? Oysters, of course. Raw on the half shell, fried or in stew, more than 60,000 oysters will be consumed throughout the weekend, all donated by the owners of Frank M Flower & Sons.
One hundred percent of food sale profits go to local Oyster Bay non-profit organizations to enhance their annual fundraising. Each organization has their name and menu at their food booth along with staff and volunteers working alongside a local restaurant or caterer. When you eat at The Oyster Festival, you are giving back to Oyster Bay. The Oyster Festival’s Oyster Booth Food Court is the largest fundraiser of the year for most of the organizations.
For some, it’s their only fundraiser. Eat up and show your support.
