Billy Joel’s original backing band, The Lords of 52nd Street, headlined The Marty Lyons Foundation Benefit Concert at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on Nov. 2.

Acclaimed comedian Bob Nelson also performed at the charity event for the nonprofit that has been bringing magic into the lives of terminally ill children since 1982. The organization was founded by Marty Lyons, a 12-year defensive lineman veteran of the New York Jets.

The foundation is dedicated to helping children aged 3 to 17 years old find the courage and strength to fight their illnesses.
