This curvaceous 5-year-old lady was fortunate to be offered a chance at stardom when her rescuers pulled her from the streets and offered her a spotlight at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. She’s been chirping her gratitude and entertaining our staff since her arrival. We’ve set our sights on finding Jayne a leading role in her next project: a love story co-starring you! You’ll be just as charmed as we are when you bring her home and she takes centerstage to perform her gratitude dance.

Meet Mickey from Middle Island. He’s special with a capital “S”! Mickey was rescued in Middle Island at 12 weeks old with a bad eye infection. One eye was beyond saving and the other had some scarring. The bad eye was surgically removed but he does have vision in the other eye.  Mickey is now 4 months old and gets along just fine! He is described as outgoing and friendly and reaches out to visitors hoping they will spend time with him. To meet Mickey by appointment at Last Hope in Wantagh, please complete & submit an adoption application found on the Last Hope website at lasthopeanimalrescue.org

**Senior Alert** Meet the Smithtown Animal Shelter’s Pet of the Week, Bailey. Bailey is a 10- year old Male Domestic Shorthair Mix who was brought to the Animal Shelter after he was sadly left behind when his owner had to move. He is a total sweetheart who is very affectionate and who loves to be petted and given attention. He’ll curl up and snuggle with you any day, any time! Bailey does have a skin condition, but otherwise is happy and healthy. Bailey would do well in a home with other pets but would prefer to have a quiet home without any children.

Currently, there are a variety of male and female cats and kittens available to adopt or foster. If you are looking for a fun loving, yarn tossing ball of love, stop by the Kitten Nursery or the Cat Condos at the Smithtown Animal Shelter and find a PURR-fect soulmate or two!

Trucker is quite the 5-year-old hunk of a boy, look at him in his little hat! Trucker loves to play with toys, especially tennis balls. He knows a ton of commands, like sit, wait, come and drop it. And did we mention he’s house and crate trained?! Trucker’s ideal home is one with adults in a quiet household with low traffic due to his stranger reactivity. Trucker needs to be your one and only, but don’t you worry, he will give you all the love that you need. Trucker would love a fenced in yard, so he can run and play, and would also like to continue his obedience training so he can become the best Trucker that he can be!
