Nassau County police are searching for the hit-and-run driver that authorities said killed rapper Nick Minaj’s 64-year-old father in Mineola last week.
Robert Maraj was walking in the roadway on Roslyn Road at the corner of Raff Avenue when he was hit by a northbound vehicle that fled the scene at 6:15 p.m. Friday, police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was initially listed in critical condition and died the next day. Police released the victim’s identity Sunday. Authorities said there was no description of the vehicle.
